A family farmouse located in Hillstreet, a locality in County Roscommon, where my grandfather, alongside 5 brothers, 2 sisters and for most of her days, a single mother, lived.

This photo, likely taken from a small aircraft 70+ years ago, was found in my father's personal collection of family photographs .Memories of his at this house include sleeping on a horse hair mattress, freshly uttered sour milk from the cows, and prominently orange egg yolk from the hens.

The farm’s original structure is said to be 300-400 years old
